What this market video covers
Volume weighting does not make a rolling average identical to an anchored average. This historical Walmart IEX replay uses completed five minute bars from October eighth, twenty twenty six. Both use bar closes and the same reported volume. The ten bar volume weighted average uses the latest ten completed bars. At our marked reference it is approximately 110.41 dollars. The cumulative calculation starts at the first observed bar in this replay and includes forty one bars. It is approximately 109.97 dollars. Each divides weighted price by its included volume. When another bar completes, the rolling window removes its oldest bar. The anchored window keeps earlier bars until its chosen reset. We use close here; a platform VWAP may default to typical price. This partial IEX replay is not a full session benchmark. Declare source, anchor and window. Historical observed market-data replay. Educational content, not personalized investment advice.
