What this market video covers
Parallel channel boundaries keep the same vertical price separation on a linear scale. Two lines can rise together without squeezing closer. Compare their slopes instead of calling every rising pair a wedge. This historical Honeywell IEX example uses two declared observed bars to demonstrate geometry, not a confirmed trading channel. The first high and low are two oh five point four two and two oh five point two five. Six five minute intervals later, they are two oh five point nine two and two oh five point seven five. Both endpoints rise fifty cents over the same time. The two fitted lines therefore have equal slopes. Their separation is seventeen cents at each anchor and remains seventeen cents when extended on this linear price scale. Actual candles can leave the chosen boundaries. This geometric example does not establish valid support, resistance or a trade. Equal slopes mean no convergence. Historical observed market-data replay.
