What this market video covers
A doji screen needs a definition of nearly equal, not just a candle name. This historical Microsoft IEX replay uses completed five minute bars from October eighth, twenty twenty six. The highlighted open is five thirty point seven eight five and the close is five thirty point seven nine. The body difference is half a cent. The high is five thirty one point zero nine five and the low is five thirty point six zero. The full range is forty nine point five cents. Divide the body by the range: approximately one percent. For this teaching screen, we declare a body no larger than five percent of the range. This candle qualifies under that rule, but five percent is our chosen threshold, not a universal definition. A tiny body describes this interval. It does not identify hidden trader intent or guarantee a reversal. Keep the threshold and timeframe explicit.
